I went there a few weeks ago, I got the ribs, squats casserole and Mac and cheese, and this just reminded me of my grandmother's cooking! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, I just wish it was closer, but I will travel for food like this, I've sent so many people over, another one this morning actually, and thats what prompted this review! Keep up the good work guy!!!

Really enjoyed everything on the buffet on a busy yet relaxed Sunday afternoon. Attentive, caring staff and a wide assortment of delicious, homemade-style options including some of our favorites, fried catfish, chicken, pork chops and okra, black eyed peas, greens, cornbread, sweet potatoes, green beans and more. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

This food is still amazing even when you use door dash, the food stays hot as heck and it’s so dang good. I love it here even when you go here the atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is polite and gets along well, y’all want some good soul food yall go here. It’s the best place around. !!

I’m not going to lie . Everything was awful . I don’t even see how this place is open. If I could give this place a 0 start I would . I ate here today for the 1st time & I tried them because some of the reviews was good but it has to be ether the staff making they own reviews or people that just grew up on nasty food. I got fried chicken , Mac & cheese , collards , yams & a deviled egg with a sweet tea . My total was $17 and it was not worth my money at all . The chicken was not seasoned at all & very hard , the Mac and cheese was terrible it had a very hard crinkly top coat of cheese and middle was soft but it literally had no taste at all, just hard and plain . The collard was nasty it taste like water and sugar . No seasoning what so ever on the greens it literally tasted like they boils it in water and sugar and that’s it. The yams was just yams from a can . Nothing special taste just like the can yams taste . The deviled egg was good . It’s the only thing I liked on my plate . & the sweet tea was terrible taste like bitter unsweetened tea with a pinch of sugar maybe idk it wasn’t good at all . I should of just went up there for a egg honestly it was the only thing good on my p

Home cooked meal! When you want Grandma's cookin... Everything was from scratch so if you know you know. Excellent is an understatement!! Macaroni and cheese, Fried Pork Chops, Fried Chicken, Pan Gravy. These are things you have high expectations of and are usually disappointed at buffet places like this. NOT HERE, NOT TODAY! I did the buffet at lunch but service was great. The dining area is small, maybe 50 max at a tight squeeze, the buffet size matches that but that allows for FRESH food continuously. I was there almost an hour and everything was extremely fresh throughout my visit. Dessert wasn't out on the buffet but they brought me a slice of lemon cake. This may have been in my best interest because I PROBABLY would have needed to be carried out on a stretcher. It was all that good!!! I'll definitely be back with my family!!! $18 with a 20% tip. She should own Golden Corral...
